The German Football Association (DFB) has published the matchday calendar for the Women’s Bundesliga. The She-Wolves kick their campaign off as they did last year at home to SGS Essen, on the weekend of 16 – 18 September. The Green-and-Whites’ first away game will be on Matchday 2 when they visit TSG 1899 Hoffenheim the following weekend.
The showdown between last season’s winners and runners-up will come as early as Matchday 5, with the She-Wolves hosting FC Bayern Munich at the AOK Stadion on the weekend of 21 – 23 October.
