Second friendly, second win

VfL Women defeat international opposition, seeing off Brondby IF 3-0.

VfL Wolfsburg Women won their Friday-night friendly against Brondby IF 3-0 (2-0). Ewa Pajor (3’, 39’) was on the mark twice, with Dominique Janssen’s penalty (64’) completing the scoring for the Green-and-Whites in Sonderborg, Denmark.

The double winners will play their third and final pre-season friendly this coming Friday, 2 September (kick-off at 15.30 CEST, live on Wölfe TV) at the AOK Stadion against FC Twente.

Coach’s reaction

Tommy Stroot: “We can see some good progress again compared with last week. We created a lot of chances, but it was just as important for us to be solid in defence and get back quickly to periods of possession. Overall, we did a lot of things very well.”
