Peter underwent an MRI scan on Monday, which confirmed the 30-year-old had suffered a stomach muscle injury during Saturday’s friendly against FC Twente. The defender will be sidelined for approximately three weeks, ruling her out of the DFB Cup game with Hannover 96 (8 September) and the UEFA Women’s Champions League opener against Thor/KA (12/13 September).
