A tough task! At the quarter-final stage of this season’s DFB-Cup competition, VfL Wolfsburg travel to FC Schalke 04. The draw was made on Sunday evening during the ARD-Sportschau at the German Museum of Football in Dortmund. Oliver Roggisch, team-manager of the German national handball team, pitted the Wolves against the 'Knappen' as the last two teams to be drawn. The Green-Whites booked their quarter-final place, progressing past Norderstedt, Hannover 96 (both 1-0) and with a 2-0 win away to 1. FC Nürnberg in the 'Round of 16'. The Royal Blues made their way to the last eight following wins over BFC Dynamo, Wehen Wiesbaden and 1. FC Köln. The games in the quarter-finals of the competition will be played out on February 6th and 7th – the exact dates and kick-off times for each match is yet to be decided.
