VfL fans can ink in another two dates for pre-season friendlies. On Tuesday 9 July (kick-off 15:30 CEST), the Wolves welcome French second-division outfit SM Caen to the AOK Stadion. Caen finished 19th in Ligue 1 last year, consigning them to relegation from the top flight. Then on Saturday 13 July (15:00 CEST), VfL take on another interesting opponent, VVV-Venlo, at the Gifhorner Flutmulde. VVV enjoyed a solid Eredivise campaign last year, finishing 12th in the Dutch first division. Tickets for this match will be available on the day, with seats costing 12 euros, 10 euros on the terraces and free entry for children up to the age of 14.
As well as these two friendlies against SM Caen and VVV-Venlo, the Wolves will play another two matches as part of their pre-season programme. VfL host FC Hansa Rostock at the AOK Stadion this coming Saturday (16:00 CEST), followed by the visit of PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday 17 July (19:00 CEST).
