VfL Wolfsburg are set to be without Lovro Majer for an extended period, while Kevin Paredes will also remain on the sidelines for the time being. Both players underwent surgery last week and will be unavailable for selection until further notice.
Issues due to more sustained schedule
Both Majer (ankle) and Paredes (foot) were receiving conservative treatment for their respective issues, but the players’ recent more sustained workload led to recurrences of their injuries. After speaking with the players, it was mutually agreed that they should both undergo surgery. Both operations went smoothly and we now wish Lovro and Kevin a speedy recovery.
