She-Wolves supporters need to wait a little while longer for Matchday 1 of the 2023/24 Google Pixel Women’s Bundesliga season, which is due to take place between 15 and 17 September. The German Football Association (DFB) released the fixture list on Friday, with Tommy Stroot’s side kicking off their campaign against Bayer Leverkusen at the AOK Stadion.
Bayern away in November
The opening weekend of the season is followed by an international break, before an early test away to Eintracht Frankfurt on Matchday 2. The She-Wolves travel to Bayern Munich on Matchday 6 in the first weekend of November, while their final league game of the calendar year sees them host Werder Bremen (15-18 December).
Monday games introduced this season
Games will also be held on a Monday in the Google Pixel Women’s Bundesliga this term. The dates and kick-off times of all Matchday 1 and 2 fixtures are set to be confirmed at the end of July. Before getting their league campaign under way, however, the She-Wolves play their first DFB Cup tie of the new season between 9 and 11 September.
