Injury forced Iceland international Gunnarsdottir to miss the recent UEFA Women's Champions League clash in Madrid and the Women's Bundesliga encounter away at MSV Duisburg, and after being diagnosed with tendon damage at the fibular head, she is now expected to be on the sidelines for four to six weeks. The 28-year-old joins an already extensive injury list for the She-Wolves which includes goalkeeper Almuth Schult, who withdrew from the Germany women's national team yesterday due to an ankle complaint.
