Caroline Graham Hansen stays with the Green-Whites and extends her contract until 2019.

Planning for the successful future of the VfL women continues!! With Sara Gunnarsdottir having extended her deal with the Green-Whites on Tuesday, now Caroline Graham Hansen has also agreed terms on the extension of her current contract with the club. The Norwegian, whose contract had been set to expire this summer, has now been prolonged until 2019. "It’s further great news for us. Caroline is a player with immense individual quality, who can decide games with her abilities. We are delighted that she has decided to continue on further as a member of our team," stated Ralf Kellermann, Sporting director of women’s football at VfL.

"Exceptional offensive qualities"

Hansen has been lacing up her boots with the VfL women since the summer of 2014, having made the move to Wolfsburg from Stabaek FK, and has since become one of the best all-round offensive players in the league. Head-coach Stephen Lerch is naturally also delighted that he can call upon the services of the 22-year-old beyond this coming summer: "It’s fantastic that Caroline will continue playing with VfL Wolfsburg. She is very valuable to the team and she brings a great deal to the table, with her exceptional qualities. She is a player of international format, who captivates with her dribbling, pace and dynamic style. That is difficult to defend for many opponents. For her, the good of the team is always in the foreground, which is made clear by the number of assists credited to her." Suitably, Hansen commented on the strength of the team and already has her focus set on the tasks ahead with the Lady-Wolves: "I am delighted to be a part of this team for a further year. We have everything necessary to achieve our goals and win more titles. I want to play my part in continuing along the successful road we have taken."
