Ginczek joins Düsseldorf

Daniel Ginczek has left VfL and signed for second-division Fortuna.

With his contract set to expire in the summer, Daniel Ginczek is leaving VfL Wolfsburg. The 30-year-old striker has signed for Fortuna Düsseldorf, who are currently 15th in Bundesliga 2.

66 competitive games for the Wolves

Ginczek joined the Wolves from VfB Stuttgart ahead of the 2018/19 season. He netted nine times in 55 Bundesliga games for the Green-and-Whites and scored a total of 11 goals in 66 appearances in all competitions, including one outing in the Champions League as well as five in the Europa League.

VfL Wolfsburg thank Daniel Ginczek for his three and a half years with the club and wish him and his family all the best for the future.
