Germany Women in Wolfsburg

The Volkswagen Arena will stage a Nations League match in April.

Germany’s senior women’s team are coming to Wolfsburg! Christian Wück’s side, which includes She-Wolves stars Jule Brandt, Janine Minge, Kathy Hendrich and Sarai Linder, will take on Scotland at the Volkswagen Arena on Tuesday 8 April (kick-off 17:45 CEST) in their fourth UEFA Women’s Nations League (UWNL) fixture of the calendar year.

First women’s international since 2011

This will be the fourth visit to Wolfsburg for Germany Women, who last played at the Volkswagen Arena against Japan in a World Cup quarter-final on 9 July 2011. They also faced Australia in a friendly here in October 2010, while their first match in Wolfsburg was a 9-0 World Cup qualifying victory over Portugal on 25 October 2001.

Fourth Nations League clash of 2025

Wück’s charges play three other Nations League games before their encounter in Wolfsburg. They travel to the Netherlands in their group stage opener on 21 February (kick-off 20:45 CET) before taking on Austria at Nuremberg’s Max-Morlock-Stadion four days later (kick-off 18:15 CET). They also face Scotland away from home on 4 April.
