Friendly against English second-flight side

Reunion with Timm Klose at a friendly in Barsinghausen.

On Thursday, July 19th, VfL play their fourth test match in preparation for the 2018/2019 season. In the clash with English second division side Norwich City, there will be a re-union with ex-Wolves defender Timm Klose, who was a cup winner with the Green-Whites in 2015, before moving to England the following year. Kick-off in the game, which will be broadcast live on Sport1, is set for 18:00 CEST at the August-Wenzel-Stadion in Barsinghausen.

Training-camp in Klosterpforte

Norwich City are undertaking a training camp at Hotel Klosterpforte in Marienfeld from July 13th to 21st and have already played friendly games against SC Paderborn (3-2) and on Tuesday against Union Berlin (1-2). The game to ultimately make it 1-2 was an unfortunate own-goal scored by former VfL man Klose.
