For the first training session of the New Year on Tuesday at 17:00 CET, VfL head-coach Martin Schmidt welcomed a new face into his coaching crew: Rehabilitation and athletic trainer Christoph Tebel. The 29-year-old German-Swiss, who was active at FC Zürich for six years and was most recently employed as athletic department manager, will join rehabilitation trainer Michele Putaro and athletic trainer Stephan Kerth in expanding the data based operations in the area of athletics and rehabilitation.
