The next international break is just around the corner, and it promises to be an exciting few days for the 13 Wolves who have been called up by their respective nations.NFive of them are battling for automatic qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico, while one is already assured of a place at the tournament. The other Green-and-Whites are involved either in friendlies or in U21 Euro qualification.
World Cup qualifiers
In European qualifying, the 12 group winners seal an automatic berth at the World Cup. There are four remaining spots available via the play-offs, which will be take place in March 2026. Those play-off places are given to the 12 group runners-up and the four best-placed Nations League group winners who have not yet qualified for the World Cup.
