Training return to feature autograph session, family activities and refreshments.
VfL Wolfsburg is opening a new chapter: the first training session of pre-season ahead of the 2026/2027 2. Bundesliga campaign has been scheduled for Wednesday, 24 June. Following relegation from the Bundesliga, the focus is now firmly on the future. Fans will have the opportunity to watch the team on the pitch and begin the new season together with the Green-and-Whites.
Programme for the whole family
Visitors to the VfL-Center can look forward to a varied programme for all ages from 3pm onwards. VfL mascot Wölfi will be on site from 3pm to 3.30pm and will be available for souvenir photos, particularly with the club’s younger supporters. There will also be a bouncy castle, football darts, a target wall and a speed-check challenge, providing plenty of entertainment and sporting fun. Food and drinks will also be available, with the Supporters offering grilled snacks as well as water and coffee. Seating will be provided on beer garden benches and tables.
Session on Pitch B
The highlight of the afternoon will be the first public training session of the professional squad. From 3.30pm to 4.30pm, Tobias Strobl’s side will complete their opening session on Pitch B and present themselves to supporters for the first time during preparations for the upcoming campaign. Fans will therefore have the chance to get a first look at the squad and the work being done on the training ground. Immediately after training, an autograph session will take place from 4.30pm until approximately 5.30pm. Visitors will have the opportunity to collect signatures, take souvenir photos and chat with members of the team.

Construction work is still ongoing in the area around the AOK Stadion. For safety reasons, children must not climb on or play around the existing sand mounds and construction areas. VfL Wolfsburg asks all visitors to observe this guidance.
