VfL Women have known for two weeks that FSV Mainz 05 are their opponents in the DFB Cup round of 16. Now they also know exactly when: the tie will be played on Saturday 23 November at 17:00 CET at the Bruchwegstadion.
Mainz got past Offenbach and Stuttgart
The hosts from the third tier have reached the last 16 courtesy of a 2-1 win at VfB Stuttgart in the first round and a 3-0 victory over Kickers Offenbach in round two. As a Bundesliga club, the She-Wolves entered the competition at the second-round stage, where they despatched Hertha BSC 6-0.
