Denis Vavro has left VfL Wolfsburg with immediate effect to join Viktoria Pilsen. The 30-year-old centre-back will continue his career with the Czech top-flight club.
Vavro had been with the Wolves since August 2024. The Slovakia international initially joined on loan from FC Copenhagen before the Green-and-Whites made the move permanent in May 2025. Vavro made a total of 52 competitive appearances for VfL in the Bundesliga, including the relegation play-offs, and the DFB Cup, scoring four goals. The defender did not feature in the current Bundesliga 2 campaign.
