Forward Jonathan Akaegbobi has left VfL Wolfsburg and joined VfL Bochum II with immediate effect. Akaegbobi, who moved to the Green-and-Whites’ academy in summer 2023 from Dynamo Dresden, will be playing for the reserve team of the Bundesliga 2 club, who will be competing in the Regionalliga West (fourth tier) next season following promotion.
49 appearances for U19s
The 19-year-old made a total of 49 appearances for the Wolves’ U19 team, in which he scored 21 goals. He was also named in the Bundesliga matchday squad twice last season. We wish Jonathan all the best for the future!
