Through to last eight

VfL Women beat SC Freiburg 3-0 in the DFB Cup last 16.

VfL Wolfsburg Women extended their record-breaking run in the DFB Cup on Monday evening, claiming their 37th consecutive victory in the competition by beating top-flight rivals SC Freiburg 3-0 in the last 16.

Dominique Janssen, Jill Roord and Svenja Huth got the goals in the first ever women’s game at Freiburg’s Dreisamstadion to book the She-Wolves’ place in the quarter-finals. The draw for the last eight takes place at 18:30 CET on Sunday 7 November, with the ties not being held until the beginning of March 2022. 

VfL are back in FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga action on Friday 5 November (kick-off 19:15 CET), when direct rivals Eintracht Frankfurt visit the AOK Stadion.
