VfL Wolfsburg have decided to continue placing their trust in Weronika Arasniewicz. After the 18-year-old Polish midfielder joined the She-Wolves on loan from FC Barcelona for the 2025/2026 season, the Green-and-Whites have now exercised the agreed purchase option. Arasniewicz will remain with VfL until 2028 and joins the Bundesliga squad. In her debut season in a VfL shirt, Arasniewicz featured for the U20 side in the 2. Frauen-Bundesliga. She has also recently made her mark on the international stage: in March, the Warsaw-born midfielder made her senior debut for Poland and earned her first minutes in FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying. She also represented Poland’s U19 side at the UEFA European Championship in Bosnia and Herzegovina, playing in all three matches and scoring twice.
