New attacker

VfL Wolfsburg have signed Adam Daghim on loan from Salzburg.

VfL Wolfsburg have added to their attacking options by signing Denmark U21 international Adam Daghim on loan from Austrian Bundesliga side FC Red Bull Salzburg. The 19-year-old will wear the number 11 jersey for the Wolves.

“Versatility and incredible pace”

“Adam is a talented young attacker with a lot of potential,” said VfL sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz. “His versatility, coupled with his incredible pace, make him particularly valuable for our attack and will make us more unpredictable for our opponents. We’re confident that he’ll continue to develop here at VfL and that he’ll be able to help us immediately.”

Trained in Denmark

The 1.86-metre attacker came through the youth ranks at FC Copenhagen and Aarhus GF, where he had his first taste of life as a professional. He joined Red Bull Salzburg in summer 2023 but was initially loaned to FC Liefering in the Austrian second division.

Last term, Daghim made 47 competitive outings for Salzburg, including seven in the UEFA Champions League and three at the FIFA Club World Cup. Overall he registered six goals and five assists for the club. The left-footer also has 17 youth caps for Denmark.

“I want to find my place here quickly”

“I’m really looking forward to being at VfL Wolfsburg,” said Daghim. “The Bundesliga is a big step up for me and it’s an exciting challenge. I want to find my place here quickly, learn a lot and use my qualities to contribute to us being successful as a team.”
