Jesper Lindström will spend the upcoming campaign with VfL Wolfsburg after the Wolves agreed a one-year loan deal for the Danish midfielder with parent club SSC Napoli. Lindström spent last season on loan at Everton FC in the English Premier League, making 30 appearances for the Toffees in all competitions. The 25-year-old will wear the number 19 shirt for the Green-and-Whites.

“Jesper has experience of playing in the Bundesliga and at international level,” said sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz. “We’re signing a dynamic and very versatile player who can operate in almost every position across the midfield. We’re delighted that he’s already part of our group and will be working with the team at the training camp.”
Lindström scored 12 goals and provided nine assists in 57 Bundesliga appearances while at Eintracht Frankfurt. He also registered a goal and an assist in five DFB Cup outings and helped the Hessian club win the Europa League in 2022.
