International duty beckons

Twelve She-Wolves have been called up by their respective nations.

While former internationals Merle Frohms, Marina Hegering and Alexandra Popp can enjoy a breather over the upcoming break in the domestic fixture list, four other Green-and-Whites will join up with the Germany squad. In total, 12 players from the current Bundesliga leaders will be on international duty over the coming days.

Two friendlies for Germany

Kathy Hendrich, Sarai Linder, Janina Minge and Vivien Endemann, who was called up to replace the injured Jule Brand in coach Christian Wück’s squad, will represent Germany. While Endemann, Minge and Linder were in the new head coach’s squad for his debut, it is Hendrich’s first call-up under Wück. Two friendlies are on the calendar for Germany. On Friday 29 November they face European Championship hosts Switzerland in Zurich (kick-off 20:00 CET) before taking on Italy in Bochum three days later on Monday 2 December (kick-off 20:30 CET).
