VfL Wolfsburg Women have strengthened their squad with a signing from the French capital: Lou Bogaert has joined the She-Wolves from last season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League participants Paris FC. The 22-year-old defender, who primarily plays at left-back, will wear the number 23 shirt at VfL and has signed a contract running until 30 June 2029. Bogaert joined Paris FC from OSC Lille in 2022, where she quickly established herself as a regular starter. She has also represented France at every youth level from the U19s onwards and has earned six senior international caps to date. She has already faced her new club in UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifying, setting up Paris FC’s third goal in a 3-3 draw against VfL in 2023.
