After the official release of the Bundesliga fixture list two weeks ago, the German Football League (DFL) today confirmed the dates and kick-off times for the first five matchdays. The Wolves begin the new league season away to 1. FC Heidenheim on a Saturday (kick-off 15:30*), before welcoming 1. FSV Mainz 05 to the Volkswagen Arena the following Sunday (15:30). The home game against 1. FC Köln takes place on a Saturday at 15:30, one day after the club’s 80th birthday on 12 September. The clash at Borussia Dortmund will be played on Sunday 21 September at 19:30. The month then ends with a home meeting against RB Leipzig on Saturday 27 September at 15:30.
