Youth talents extend contracts
Marx, Pohlmann and Beifus sign long-term deals.

Talented youngsters Dominik Marx, Ole Pohlmann and Marcel Beifus have signed new long-term contracts at VfL Wolfsburg. The trio are set to feature primarily for the U23 team in the 2020/21 season as they take the next step in their careers. Pablo Thiam, head of the VfL Football Academy, is delighted about the contract extensions, saying: “The fact that all three are staying with us shows they feel they’re in very good hands here. We’re very confident that they will continue to develop fully and will therefore be able to stake their claim for greater things. Last season proved it’s possible to achieve that.”
New signings from abroad
VfL also have three new international signings to report. Bryang Kayo, aged 17, comes from USA and is destined for the U23s, while Kobe Hernandez-Foster, 18, also arrives from the States and will play for the Wolves’ U19 side. Then there is 16-year-old Lukas Ambros, who is making the move to Germany from the Czech Republic to strengthen the U17 team. All three represent their respective countries at age-group level.
