VfL Wolfsburg has brought another strong partner on board in the shape of Ningbo Huaxiang Electronics Co., Ltd. (NBHX). The Green-and-Whites agreed to work together with the Chinese automotive parts specialist at the start of the new season, and this will also see NBHX added to the “Wolfsburg United” circle. NBHX was founded in 1988 in the coastal city of Ningbo and since then has focussed on the design, development, production and distribution of automotive parts in the medium-to-upper price ranges, providing vehicle interiors and exteriors, automotive electronics, metal components and other relevant products and services.
The Wolves and NBHX have signed a multi-year deal, and this will give the Chinese company access to LED perimeter advertising, hospitality services and a presence on the Bundesliga club’s social media channels. “We are proud to have found a partner in Ningbo Huaxiang Electronics that fits perfectly to us due to its innovative strength,” said VfL managing director Michael Meeske, who is convinced that the agreement with NBHX will be a fruitful one. “We are therefore very much looking forward to working together with them and generating a lot of synergy within the partnership.“
NBHX planning to set up VfL fan club
Yan Sun, CEO of NBHX, said: “This cooperation agreement between Ningbo Huaxiang Electronic and VfL Wolfsburg will help us to better understand the local football culture and to reduce the distance between our companies in China and Germany, so that we can offer improved services to our customers and fulfil our wish to combine our creative resources to energise the world via our products.” The automotive supplier is also planning to create an internal VfL fan club for staff interested in football.
