Lukas Nmecha, Jerome Roussillon and Phillip Menzel to play FIFA 20 with VfL's E-Sport pros and YouTuber Danny Proownez.
Continuing what has become a popular tradition at VfL Wolfsburg in recent years, the Wolves will host their annual launch event for the new FIFA gaming season on Sunday 29 September (live on Twitch from 18:00 CEST). This year, VfL players Nmecha, Roussillon and Menzel will join up with the club's E-Sport pros, Benedikt Saltzer, Benedikt Bauer and eAcademy player Riad Fazlija, to try out the 20th and latest edition of the popular gaming series alongside YouTuber and E-Sport pro Danny Proownez.
Live from the Skylounge
In previous years, the business section and main stand of the Volkswagen Arena have provided the stage for the occasion, but this time the event, in what will be its fourth edition, will be held in the Skylounge. The live show will be hosted by FIFA blogger Moritz Ladwig (MosErsatzbank). The venue will not be the only difference to past years, as the format of the event has also been modified. Whereas previously a tournament would be played, this year VfL are focusing on introducing the game's new features, including the Mystery Ball and VOLTA modes.
