VfL draw first friendly of 2020

VfL Wolfsburg drew 1-1 with South Korean top-flight side FC Seoul on Friday afternoon.

The Wolves had to settle for a 1-1 draw with FC Seoul in their first friendly of the year at the Estadio Municipal de Albufeira. Yunus Malli gave the Green-and-Whites a first-half lead (14’) against Seoul, who are currently preparing for their new domestic season after finishing third in South Korea’s top flight last term. However, Kim Min-soo restored parity in the second half (61’) before Seoul goalkeeper Yang Han-been thwarted Malli from the penalty spot five minutes from time.

Oliver Glasner’s side only have an hour to rest before facing Geneva-based outfit Servette at 17:00 CET in their second friendly of the day. Glasner will name a completely changed line-up against the Swiss side.
