David Bytheway has ended his career as an e-sport player.
Bytheway has called time on his e-sport career after nearly two and a half years at VfL Wolfsburg. “It’s time for me to pursue a different path in my life and to seek a new challenge,” explained the 25-year-old Brit, who joined the Wolves’ e-sport team in 2016. “VfL Wolfsburg and its staff have supported me incredibly well during my whole time here. To represent VfL as an e-sport player was the opportunity of a lifetime, and I’m incredibly proud and thankful for my time here. I hope VfL Wolfsburg will continue to achieve e-sports success in the future and I wish the club all the best.”
“Thanks for your efforts”
Felix Welling, head of corporate development at VfL Wolfsburg, added: “We enjoyed a lot of success with David in recent years and were able to keep improving our e-sport department thanks to his experience and dedication. We thank David for his efforts and wish him all the best for his future.”
