On Wednesday afternoon, the Wolves returned to Wolfsburg following their away success in the DFB-Cup and undertook a final training session, before parting to enjoy a well-earned Christmas break. The Green-Whites have little time to rest up though, with a busy programme scheduled for the period immediately after the festive season.
Training camp from January 3rd to 8th
As early as Tuesday, January 2nd, the Wolves will be back on the training grounds at 16:00 CET, for their first session of 2018. The following morning, January 3rd, at 10am, the Green-Whites will go through a work-out on their grounds, before VfL head-coach Martin Schmidt and his men head to their winter training camp in Marbella, Spain, until Monday, January 8th.
During their stay in Spaiin, the Green-Whites will play two test-friendlies, which have now been scheduled: On Friday, January 5th at 15:00 CET, VfL take on FC St. Pauli at the Marbella Football Center. The next day, the Wolves play their second friendly in preparation for the latter half of the season.
