Wolves held to goalless draw in friendly against Hannover 96.

VfL Wolfsburg’s friendly against second-division Hannover 96 ended in a 0-0 draw. Oliver Glasner’s men were the better side in the first half, but couldn’t convert their dominance into goals. Right-backs Kevin Mbabu and William both made their comebacks from long-term injuries.
“Very beneficial exercise”
Oliver Glasner: “I’m satisfied as the team played very well for large parts of the game and created a lot of good openings, particularly in the first half. We certainly could’ve scored one or two goals but I saw a lot of positives, the biggest being the comebacks of Kevin Mbabu and William, who both managed to get through 90 minutes having been out for months. That pleased me in particular, so in that respect it was a very beneficial exercise.”
