She-Wolves to face Bayern

The VfL Ladies will play away to Bayern Munich in the DFB Cup Round of 16.

The draw is undoubtedly the highlight of the last 16 and means the Green-Whites will travel to last year's Women's Bundesliga runners-up on either 16 or 17 November. 

VfL head coach Stephan Lerch: "We've been given a tough tie against Bayern. We'd have liked to play them later in the competition, but we'll accept the challenge. Bayern won't be jumping for joy at the draw either. We're confident enough to beat the hardest opponent we could've been drawn against in this round."
