She-Wolves on international duty
Nine VfL players will be representing their countries during the forthcoming international break.

Nine members of the VfL Women squad are set to play for their national teams in Euro 2022 qualifiers in the coming days.
Rolfö sidelined through injury
The first VfL player to feature will be Zsanett Jakabfi, whose Hungary side take on Sweden on Thursday 17 September (kick-off 18:00). Unfortunately, the 30-year-old will not be facing her She-Wolves teammate Fridolina Rolfö, who was unable to join up with the Swedish national team after suffering a concussion in the Champions League final against Olympique Lyon.
Five She-Wolves in Germany squad
Germany internationals Kathrin Hendrich, Lena Oberdorf, Felicitas Rauch, Svenja Huth and Alexandra Popp will be taking on the Republic of Ireland on Saturday 19 September (14:00). National team coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg will be able to call upon Rauch and Oberdorf for Germany’s subsequent qualifier against Montenegro on Tuesday 22 September (16:07), but Popp, Hendrich and Huth will be unavailable as they will be returning to Wolfsburg early.
Exciting ties for Poland and Norway
Poland – with VfL goalkeeper Katarzyna Kiedrzynek – will play the Czech Republic twice in a matter of days, on Friday 18 September (18:15) then on Tuesday 22 September (18:00). Ingrid Engen’s Norway are also set for an exciting tie against Wales on Tuesday 22 September (18:00), while Dominique Janssen and the Netherlands take on Russia on Friday 18 September (16:00).
