
Sextet on the road
Six Wolves stars are set to play for their countries in the coming days.

Half a dozen VfL players have been called up by their countries for the 2020/21 campaign’s second round of international fixtures. Josip Brekalo (Croatia), Admir Mehmedi (Switzerland), Pavao Pervan and Xaver Schlager (both Austria) are set to represent their senior national sides, while new signings Bartosz Bialek (Poland) and Ridle Baku (Germany) will be in action for their countries’ under-21 teams. Brekalo, Mehmedi, Pervan, Schlager and Bialek have already linked up with their national squads, with Baku set to join his under-21 colleagues on Friday.
