She-Wolves to face ZFK Spartak Subotica in UWCL round of 32.

VfL Wolfsburg Women will meet ZFK Spartak Subotica in the UEFA Women’s Champions League round of 32, following Tuesday lunchtime’s draw. It won’t be the She-Wolves’ first encounter with the reigning Serbian champions – the two sides came up against each other at the same stage in the 2015/16 season. The first leg in Serbia finished goalless, before the Green-and-Whites ran out convincing winners with a 4-0 victory on home soil.
The first leg will take place in Subotica on 9 or 10 December, with the second leg happening a week later (15 or 16 December) at the AOK Stadion.
“The draw could be a good omen”
Ralf Kellermann, VfL Women sporting director: “As runners-up last season, we’ll obviously go into the games against Spartak Subotica as clear favourites. The draw could be a good omen as we also reached the final in 216.
