The second-tier club have made the midfielder’s loan move permanent.
Paul Seguin will be staying put at SpVgg Greuther Fürth, where he’s been on loan from VfL Wolfsburg since January, after the Bundesliga 2 side activated their purchase option on the 24-year-old. Seguin joined the Wolves in 2007 and progressed through the youth ranks, winning the Under-19 Bundesliga title in 2013. The Magdeburg-born midfielder made his Bundesliga debut for VfL on 23 April 2016, having been part of the squad that won the DFB Cup one year earlier. Seguin, who spent the 2017/18 campaign on loan at Dynamo Dresden, made a total of 26 appearances (one goal) in the top flight for the Green-Whites.
