The German Football League (DFL) has confirmed the dates and kick-off times of the 2021/22 Bundesliga season’s opening six rounds of fixtures. VfL begin their campaign with a home match against VfL Bochum on 14 August (kick-off 15:30 CEST) before travelling to Hertha Berlin a week later (15:30 CEST). The Wolves’ third game of the campaign takes place on Sunday 29 August (17:30 CEST), when Mark van Bommel’s side welcome last season’s runners-up RB Leipzig to the Volkswagen Arena.
