The She-Wolves’ UEFA Women’s Champions League last-eight matches have been postponed.
At Tuesday’s video conference, UEFA’s executive committee decided to postpone all UEFA national team and club competitions due to the continued spread of coronavirus.
This affects VfL Wolfsburg’s UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-final matches, which were due to take place in the coming weeks. Stephan Lerch’s side were meant to travel to Glasgow City FC in their last-eight first leg on 25 March, before hosting the Scottish outfit at the AOK Stadion on 1 April.
A UEFA working group involving league and club representatives will examine ways of bringing this season’s competitions to a close at a later date.
