Play-offs and friendlies

Eleven members of the VfL Wolfsburg Ladies squad will be with their respective national teams during the upcoming international break.

It has been a busy few weeks for the VfL Wolfsburg women’s team. Sunday’s 2-1 win at MSV Duisburg was the She-Wolves’ seventh game in the space of just 22 days, but there will be little time to rest for the Green-Whites’ international stars in the coming week, with 11 members of Stephan Lerch’s squad set to join up with their respective national teams. Noelle Maritz’s Switzerland, who are without the injured Lara Dickenmann, take on the Netherlands in a play-off final for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, while the rest are all in friendly action.
