Marcel Tisserand has signed for Turkish club Fenerbahce.
VfL Wolfsburg and Marcel Tisserand have gone their separate ways, with the 27-year-old Congolese defender joining 19-time Turkish champions Fenerbahce on a permanent deal. Both clubs have agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer.
Tisserand joined VfL in summer 2017 on an initial loan deal from relegated Bundesliga club FC Ingolstadt 04, before completing a permanent move from the Bavarian side. The centre-back made 53 appearances for the Wolves in all competitions, including 41 in the Bundesliga (scoring two goals), seven in the UEFA Europa League and five in the DFB Cup.
