There’s a varied programme for this year’s Family Fun Day.
The VfL Family Fun Day always promises entertainment and excitement, and this year the event will once again be topped off with a friendly against high-class opposition. On Saturday 3 August (kick-off 15:00 CEST), the Wolves will go up against OGC Nice at AOK Stadion. The French side, who finished seventh in Ligue 1 last season and have ex-VfL player Dante in their ranks, will provide a final stern test before the season kicks off with the DFB Cup tie against Hallescher FC on Monday 12 August (kick-off 18:30 CEST).
Lots on offer
Before the match against Nice, VfL fans can enjoy a fantastic party on the grounds of the Volkswagen Arena from 10:00 onwards – the perfect way to get in the mood for the start of the season. There’ll be over 50 food and activity stands for visitors to choose from, while the main stage will offer live music, artist performances and fascinating discussions and interviews (with VfL’s new signings, for example). On another stage behind the main stand, a DJ will provide the perfect soundtrack for the Green-and-White party.
