Enjoyable experiences for cancer patients and their families.
The second Maximilian Arnold Wolves Camp was held from Thursday 8 October to Sunday 11 October. The project, which is aimed at young cancer sufferers and their families, was set up by VfL midfielder Arnold along with recreational facility Haus am Bernsteinsee and the José Carreras Leukaemia Foundation.
Despite the current pandemic, a good time was had by everyone involved. The only sour note was that Arnold himself was unable to attend after a member of the VfL team tested positive for coronavirus. As a small consolation, Arnold sent all Wolves Camp participants a video message along with signed shirts.
The next Maximilian Arnold Wolves Camp is due to take place in April 2021.
