VfL Wolfsburg has parted with Kaylen Hinds. The club has reacted to the forward's unauthorised absence of several weeks by terminating his contract with immediate effect. There is no longer a valid contract of employment between Hinds and VfL. "Despite repeated requests, he has not fulfilled his contractual obligations," said Jörg Schmadtke, VfL managing director for sport. "We do not tolerate such behaviour."
Hinds joined Wolfsburg from Arsenal last year. He made one Bundesliga appearance and one DFB Cup appearance for the club and was on loan at second-division side SpVgg Greuther Fürth between January and June 2018.
