Carlo Ancelotti’s side will visit Wolfsburg during VfL’s family fun day.
VfL Wolfsburg will welcome Serie A club Napoli for a friendly on Saturday 11 August. The game against Carlo Ancelotti’s side (19:30 CEST) will be the highlight of the festivities at the Volkswagen Arena to mark the start of the new season. “We’re looking forward to playing Napoli and offering our fans a good and interesting game to get them in the mood for the new season,” said head coach Bruno Labbadia. “This match will be a real measure of where we’re at, one week before our first competitive game in the DFB Cup at SV Elversberg.”
