“Want to win every game”

VfL head coach Stephan Lerch: “All in all, we can be pleased. The lead that we gained in the first half was fully deserved as we had more of the game. We had a weaker period in the second half and that’s how Frankfurt drew level. Then we went up another gear in the closing stages and had a number of chances. It’s obviously pleasing to start with a positive result. We want to win every game, even if it’s only a friendly, and today we did that.”
