Eight Wolves on international duty

Wout Weghorst is among those involved as the European Championship qualifiers come to an end.

An exhausting schedule of seven games in four weeks is now over for the Wolves and they can take a breather before their next Bundesliga match at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday 23 November (kick-off 15:30 CET).

However, eight VfL players will be spending the international break contesting crucial matches in EURO 2020 qualifying, 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying and the CONCACAF Nations League – including striker Weghorst, who has been called up to the Netherlands squad for the first time since June 2018.
