VfL Wolfsburg have strengthened their esports team with Dylan ‘DullenMIKE’ Neuhausen.
VfL Wolfsburg continue to expand their involvement in esports and have bolstered their team with the addition of Dylan ‘DullenMIKE’ Neuhausen. The 17-year-old, who has most recently been playing for SK Gaming, will represent the Green-and-Whites on the console alongside Timo ‘TimoX’ Siep and Benedikt ‘SaLz0r’ Saltzer. By signing the current no.10 in the world rankings, the Wolves have strengthened their esports squad with one of the most promising German youngsters on the scene. ‘DullenMIKE’ triumphed in the FUT Champions Cup in Bucharest in January and is the only German player to have won a major tournament this season.
Going to the World Cup
VfL fans don’t have to wait long for Neuhausen’s first outing in a Wolves shirt, as he’ll be playing for the Green-and-Whites in the FIFA eWorld Cup in London this weekend. “It’s a great honour for me to play for VfL Wolfsburg, fulfilling my dream of becoming a professional for a Bundesliga club,” said the 17-year-old from Türkheim, whose home console is Xbox.
Meanwhile, VfL managing director Michael Meeske is impressed by the latest member of the club’s esports roster. “Dylan has proven this season that he’s one of the emerging talents in FIFA esports, which makes us even more delighted that he’s decided to join VfL Wolfsburg. As a Bundesliga club committed to esports, we want to continue setting standards and enjoying successes in the sport. With Dylan we’re getting another promising esports player to go alongside Timo and Benedikt.”
