Owing to recent developments regarding the spread of coronavirus, it remains unclear whether VfL Women’s upcoming home matches can go ahead as normal. The FLYERALARM Women’s Bundesliga fixtures against 1. FC Köln on Sunday 29 March (kick-off 14:00 CEST) and 1. FFC Frankfurt on Saturday 4 April (13:00 CEST), as well as the UEFA Women’s Champions League quarter-final second leg against Glasgow City FC on Wednesday 1 April (18:00 CEST) could all be affected.

“We’re in constant, constructive dialogue with the City of Wolfsburg and will assess the situation on a daily basis,” said VfL Managing Director Dr. Tim Schumacher. “If there is any new information regarding the staging of our upcoming games, the club will communicate this immediately.”

The autograph session scheduled to take place after the match against Frankfurt has been cancelled. A new date will be set as soon as possible.
