Fitness coach Michael Berktold leaves VfL at own request.

When the Wolfsburg first team return from the short Christmas break on Tuesday to begin preparations for the next match at Borussia Dortmund (Sunday 3 January 20201, 15:30 CET), one member of the coaching staff will no longer be there. Fitness coach Michael Berktold has decided to leave the club for personal reasons and terminate his contract. Fellow fitness coach Christoph Tebel will take over Berktold’s duties, with a decision about a replacement to be made in the coming weeks.
